About This Event
The Martin House Miler is the inaugural event in the new Trails To Taps Series, a collection of running races organized by Rise Racing Co that celebrate Fort Worth’s Trinity River Trails and local brewing culture. Held at Martin House Brewing Company, the event revives the spirit of old-school Pedestrianism with a timed loop format, live crowds, music, and community atmosphere. Runners compete on a precisely wheeled 2-mile loop along the Trinity River Trails, with the option to run on paved surface or grass alongside. The event spans three days (October 9-11, 2026) and offers multiple race formats: 48-hour, 24-hour, 12-hour, 6-hour, 3-hour, and 1-hour individual timed races, plus relay divisions. Staggered start times throughout the weekend allow different cohorts to begin at scheduled intervals, with all races culminating on Sunday at 1pm. The organizers emphasize accessibility and flexibility, letting participants tailor their route choice between pavement and grass. The Trails To Taps Series plans to expand to five or six races annually, with monthly group runs and additional disciplines in the future. Martin House Brewing Company’s back porch offers one of Fort Worth’s best views, creating an ideal venue for this community-focused running celebration that blends sport, local business, and outdoor recreation.
