Platinum Racing is a premier Canadian endurance event organizer specializing in triathlons, running races, cycling events, and open-water swimming competitions across Alberta and British Columbia. Their mission is to deliver exceptional race experiences that challenge participants and showcase the natural beauty of Western Canada.
Signature Events:
- Ironman 70.3 Calgary: A renowned triathlon event featuring a 1.9 km swim, 90 km bike ride, and 21.1 km run, attracting athletes from around the world.
- Great White North Triathlon: Held annually since 1991 at Allan Beach Resort in Stony Plain, Alberta, this event offers various race distances, including Half Distance, Olympic, Sprint, Try-A-Tri, Aquabike, and Duathlon.

Affiliation with Belgian Waffle Ride British Columbia:
In partnership with Monuments of Cycling, Platinum Racing co-organizes the Belgian Waffle Ride (BWR) British Columbia, an international gravel cycling event held in the Cowichan Valley on Vancouver Island. The BWR BC offers three race distances—Waffle (+200 km), Wafer (+100 km), and Wanna (+50 km)—catering to various skill levels. The event features a mix of gravel and single-track sectors, providing a dynamic multi-surface race experience. The accompanying Unroad Cycling Festival includes live music, a beer garden, diverse food options, and family-friendly activities, exemplifying Canadian hospitality.
