Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship
About
Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship is a non-profit organization that builds sustainable communities through creating and maintaining multi-use trails in the Sierra Buttes, Tahoe, Plumas and Lassen National Forests. As part of their fundraising efforts, they produce two exceptional cycling events each year, the Downieville Classic which is one of the Best MTB Events in the Northwest and Lost and Found Gravel Festival which is one of the Best Gravel Cycling Events in California. The Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship’s events go beyond being mere races; they are immersive weekend-long festivals that attract participants from around the globe and are often highlighted in leading cycling publications. In addition to race entry fees, they raise funds for their non-profit organization through event partnerships, which enable them to continue trail maintenance and construction. Whether you’re a professional athlete or a spectator seeking an enjoyable weekend in the Lost Sierra, the events cater to everyone. Collectively known as the Lost Sierra Triple Crown, these events present athletes with the ultimate test of fitness and skill, fostering a sense of challenge and achievement.
