The Triple Crown Gravel Fondo Series is a cycling event series produced by Tri 1 Events in British Columbia, Canada. It consists of three different gravel fondo rides, each with its own unique course and challenges. The rides are designed for cyclists of all levels, from beginner to advanced, and offer a challenging and rewarding experience for all participants.
The first ride in the series is the Cowichan Crusher, which takes place on Vancouver Island. This 80km route takes riders through the scenic Cowichan Valley, with stunning views of mountains, lakes, and forests. The course features a mix of gravel, pavement, and dirt roads, with challenging climbs and descents.
The second ride is the Kettle Mettle Dirty Fondo, which takes place in the Okanagan Valley. This 100km route features a mix of paved and gravel roads, with challenging climbs and descents through the beautiful Okanagan landscape. Participants will ride through vineyards, orchards, and farmland and enjoy stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.
The final ride in the series is the Sea2Sky Gravel Fondo in Squamish, British Columbia. The event features a challenging and scenic 90km gravel course that takes riders through the beautiful Sea to Sky corridor, with stunning views of the coastal mountains and Howe Sound. The course includes a mix of gravel and dirt roads, with challenging climbs and descents, including the iconic climb up to the Sea to Sky Gondola.
The Triple Crown Gravel Fondo Series participants can ride one, two, or all three events and compete individually or as a team. The series is open to cyclists of all ages and abilities and offers a challenging and rewarding experience for everyone who participates.
