Glori Days 50 2026
About This Event
The Glori Days 50 delivers a punishing 50-mile test through Glorieta Adventure Camps’ extensive trail network in the foothills of New Mexico’s Sangre de Cristo Mountains. As part of the National Ultra Endurance Series Marathon division, this event draws serious endurance cyclists from across the country to tackle what organizers call the “Blaze of Glori” course.
The route covers over 25 miles of Glorieta’s inner trails, weaving through segments with names like Route 66, Cairn Me Up, Chips & Salsa, and the flow trail Holy Molé, known for its berms, jumps, and rock features. Riders face more than 6,500 feet of elevation gain, with technical sections demanding hike-a-bike efforts before reaching the course’s high point at Ghost Town. The terrain ranges from purpose-built flow trails to all-mountain challenges that test both endurance and technical skills.
Organized by Zia Rides, the event maintains a balance between serious competition and the family-friendly atmosphere the organization is known for. The NUE series designation means strict time cutoffs and competitive fields across categories including Open Men and Women, Master 50+, and Singlespeed divisions.
Glorieta’s 35-trail system provides some of New Mexico’s finest purpose-built mountain biking terrain, offering diverse experiences from intermediate-friendly routes to advanced technical challenges. The venue’s reputation for hosting quality events creates a supportive community atmosphere, while the surrounding mountain and forest views provide stunning scenery throughout the grueling course.
