Whether you’re a seasoned racer aiming for the podium or a recreational skier looking to soak in the serene winter beauty, the Stagecoach Classic offers something for everyone, from the challenging 30km and 15km courses to the family-friendly 3k kids’ tour. The race kicks off and concludes at the stunning Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa, a location known for its rustic charm and world-class amenities. The 30km route weaves through rolling meadows, dense forests, and open expanses that offer sweeping views of the Continental Divide. With approximately 1,500 feet of elevation gain, this course challenges skiers with steady climbs and exhilarating descents, testing both endurance and technique. The 15km course, while shorter, is no less picturesque, with around 750 feet of elevation gain, making it a perfect choice for those looking for a shorter but still rewarding experience.
The terrain of the Stagecoach Classic is varied, offering everything from gentle glides through open fields to more technical sections where precise classic technique is essential.
