The Range Gravel Experience – 2025 Rated

July 19

The Range Gravel Experience is an epic gravel cycling event scheduled for July 19, 2025, in Claresholm, Alberta. This event offers riders an unparalleled adventure through the diverse and pristine ecosystems of Southwest Alberta, combining challenging terrains with breathtaking scenery.  In a significant development, The Range has joined the esteemed TransRockies Race Series, known for organizing world-class endurance events since 2002. This partnership aims to elevate The Range to new heights, blending its rugged roots with TransRockies' expertise in crafting exceptional cycling adventures.  Additionally, The Range is now part of the prestigious Gravel Earth Series, bringing this epic race to an international platform. This affiliation allows riders to earn points toward the series' overall ranking, positioning The Range among the world's premier gravel events.

What sets The Range apart is its exclusive access to both public and private roads, allowing participants to traverse areas typically off-limits to the public. Riders will journey through open grasslands, dense forests of the Porcupine Hills, and along the remarkable Skyline Road—one of Alberta's best-kept secrets. The course also features two natural creek crossings on a private road through Burton’s Burke Creek Ranch, established in 1890, offering a unique blend of history and natural beauty.  The Range Gravel Experience is Rated by Strambecco as one of the Best Cycling Events in Canada.
