Event & Course Info

The Beti Bike Bash offers a variety of race categories to accommodate all skill levels, ensuring that every participant can find their place in this welcoming community. The courses are designed to be fast, flowy, and fun, with a network of trails that showcase the beauty of Bear Lake State Park. Racers can pre-ride the courses anytime to familiarize themselves with the terrain.

For true beginners, the "Never Ever" and "New Mom" categories are combined into one, covering 8.9 miles with 635 feet of climbing. This category is intended for those who have never raced before or new mothers who have been off the bike during pregnancy, providing a supportive introduction to the sport. For those with some experience, the "Beginner" category covers the same distance and elevation, making it suitable for riders who have raced a few times or are confident in their mountain bike skills.

For more experienced riders, the "Sport / Singlespeed" category offers a longer distance of 11.3 miles with 951 feet of climbing. This category is perfect for those looking to push themselves and enjoy a more challenging race. Junior riders are welcome in this category as well, adding to the inclusive spirit of the event.

And for the frequent rippers, the "Expert" course features two laps on an 8.3 mile course with a total of 16.6 Miles and 1,486 ft of climbing.

The "Bitty Beti" category, designed for young riders aged 13 and under, features a course distance of 1.8 miles (1 lap) or 3.6 miles (2 laps). This category provides a fantastic introduction to racing for young girls, with parents and supporters welcome on the course to cheer them on.

Beti Bike Bash supports Little Bellas, a mountain bike organization dedicated to helping young women realize their potential through cycling, and the event aims to create a supportive and fun environment for women and junior girls to challenge themselves and grow, and is part of a broader effort by Little Bellas to promote female participation in mountain biking across the country. Their programs are centered around creating a positive, empowering environment for girls and women on bikes.
