GFNY Florida Sebring 2026
About This Event
GFNY Florida Sebring takes place in the heart of “old Florida,” showcasing the state’s most picturesque landscapes away from coastal crowds. The event starts in historic downtown Sebring, a century-old city built around a unique circle park, with the Sebring Civic Center positioned directly on beautiful Lake Jackson.
The course travels through Central Florida’s protected habitats, cattle ranches, and iconic orange groves on low-traffic, well-paved roads. The upper loop toward Avon Park features scenic rolling hills through miles of citrus groves, while the Arbuckle Creek Road segment crosses thousands of acres of pristine ranch land preserved under state conservation easements. Riders cross the picturesque Arbuckle Creek itself, experiencing landscapes that feel untouched by modern development.
The Long Course spans 95 challenging miles with police-moderated intersections for safety. After traveling rural roads and the traffic-controlled Route 66, riders complete a 35-mile scenic loop through tranquil landscapes, then repeat the loop before finishing at The Barn at Paso Fino. This is a timed competition with category rankings and awards. The top 10% of finishers in each age group qualify for priority corral placement at all GFNY World events.
The Medium Course covers 59 miles along the same scenic route without the second loop, offering a more casual pace while still providing start-to-finish timing.
Aid stations at miles 24, 44, 60, and 80 provide hydration and food, with mechanical support available at each station plus one rolling mechanic. The post-race celebration at The Barn at Paso Fino features meals prepared by their acclaimed chef, with awards ceremonies creating a vibrant community atmosphere that participants consistently praise.
