Stages Cycling Leadville Trail 100 MTB

August 13

This is it, the races of all mountain bike races.  One hundred miles and 10,000+ feet of elevation gain at high-altitude, extreme terrain of the Colorado Rockies. This event was created for the most determined athletes.  Starting at 10,152 feet and climbing to 12,424 feet, you’ll be challenged to catch your breadth — while the views try to take it away.

Registration is lottery based and you can register as an individual or as a group.  Group members need to register individually, but be sure to signify being part of a group.  This will mean that either your entire group will be successful in the lottery, or not, assuring that no one will be left out.

If you are unsuccessful in the lottery process and still wish to participate in the LT100 MTB, you have the option to race one of several Leadville Race Series qualifier events to earn your spot. Each Leadville Qualifying Series race provides 25-100 qualifying slots to the Leadville Trail 100 MTB, based on the total number of registered riders at each qualifier event. Half of the qualifying spots will be allocated based on the top age-group performances and half will be drawn among riders who have finished the qualifier race within the allocated cutoff time.

Qualifier events include:

The Leadville 100 is the culminating event of the Leadville Race Series, owned by Life Time Fitness, an organization focused on producing premier off-road Gravel, Mountain and Trail running events in spectacular locations across the US.
