Scheduled for September 15, 2024, the Gran Fondo Vaduz presents two route options for participants: a 90 km route with an elevation gain of 1,700 meters and a shorter 60 km route with 1,100 meters. These routes are designed to challenge cyclists with several climbs, offering breathtaking views that are rewarding to the effort. The ride features timed climbs with neutralized sections in between, allowing cyclists to regroup and recover. This format adds a unique competitive yet communal feel to the event.
Vaduz, the host city, is the political capital of Liechtenstein and a cultural hub with landmarks such as Vaduz Castle. The event starts and finishes in front of the government building in Vaduz’s city center, adding a grand backdrop to the race.
