Oregon Gran Fondo 2026
About This Event
The Oregon Gran Fondo stands out for offering both road purists and gravel enthusiasts exceptional route options in the same event. Based in Cottage Grove, just south of Eugene, this Mudslinger Events production provides four distinct distances across two surface types, making it one of the most versatile cycling events in the Pacific Northwest.
The road routes cover 117 and 71 miles with 6,600 and 4,400 feet of elevation gain respectively, while the mixed-surface options include a demanding 130-mile Adventure Route with 8,300 feet of climbing and 16 miles of fast, somewhat loose gravel requiring 35mm tires, plus a more accessible 25-mile route with 1,800 feet of gain. The terrain combines steep climbs, winding descents, and technical sections that showcase Oregon’s natural beauty while challenging riders across all ability levels.
As part of the Oregon Triple Crown Series, the event attracts a diverse field from competitive cyclists to recreational riders, all drawn by the challenging courses and the region’s stunning backroads. The atmosphere balances serious riding with Mudslinger Events’ signature festive, inclusive vibe that has defined their events since 1987.
Participants who complete three Oregon Triple Crown events earn “Oregon Triple Crowner” status and receive a custom Pactimo jersey. The series offers 3 and 5-event passes with 15% and 20% discounts respectively, encouraging riders to explore multiple events throughout the season. The Gran Fondo’s varied route options and integration into this broader series make it particularly appealing for cyclists looking to experience Oregon’s diverse terrain in a single, well-supported event.
