FoCo Fondo 2026
About This Event
The FoCo Fondo combines challenging gravel cycling with a festival atmosphere that sets it apart from typical racing events. Founded in 2015 by Zack Allison and Jake Arnold with Whitney Allison, this Fort Collins event has built a reputation for inclusivity and community spirit. Riders can approach it competitively or treat it as a scenic adventure ride through Colorado’s rolling gravel terrain.
The event offers five distinct routes to accommodate different skill levels and ambitions. The family-friendly 12-mile Here for It route sticks to flat bike paths and parks around Fort Collins with no chip timing. The 32-mile Dare You route introduces gentle rollers with 1,300 feet of climbing north and east of the city. Stepping up in difficulty, the 60-mile Double Dog Dare You covers challenging gravel with 2,560 feet of elevation gain and multiple rest stops.
For serious distance riders, the 100-mile Triple Dog Dare You provides a fast gravel century experience with 5,100 feet of climbing but avoids major sustained climbs. The ultimate challenge is the 118-mile Quadruple Dog Dare You route, featuring 7,432 feet of elevation gain with significant climbing and prize purse opportunities.
The event starts and finishes at New Belgium Brewing, creating a celebratory post-ride atmosphere. A VIP experience package includes express packet pickup, private brewery access with tour and lunch, premium merchandise including a Pearl Izumi jersey, and training resources from Source Endurance.
