Strambecco rates the best mountain bike events New England 2025 based on various factors, including reputation, route quality, location, rider feedback, and the overall uniqueness of the event or race.  Spanning upstate New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts,  New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine, and Rhode Island -- New England terrain features of Strambecco's best list often are known for the rocky Atlantic coastline, changing autumn foliage, rolling hills, forested mountains, steep rocky climbs, and terrain.

If we had to pick the best of the best mountain bike events New England 2025 or those you'd classify as bucket list events, we'd recommend Wilmington Whiteface in June, a premier event from Lifetime Events.  Wilmington Whiteface is a Leadville race series event and qualifier for the famed Leadville 100.  The event occurs at Whiteface Mountain Resort, near Lake Placid, making for a destination getaway. An excellent Fall event we'd consider is the Fox US Open MTB at Killington Mountain Resort in September.  This is a full-on MTB festival with a wide variety of options.  Finally, we recommend the Carrabassett 100 in July, a National Ultra Endurance Series event.
