The 50K Pepsi Challenge Cup of the Giants Ridge Ski Race Weekend is the ultimate test for those looking to push themselves to the limit. The 25K Great River Energy Rush is perfect for intermediate skiers looking to challenge themselves in the Giants Ridge Ski Race Weekend event without committing to the full 50K. Covering about 15.5 miles with an elevation gain of approximately 1,200 feet, this course offers a mix of moderate climbs and fast, flowing descents. With fewer technical sections than the 50K, it’s ideal for those wanting a solid endurance challenge with slightly less intensity.
The 8K Giants Ridge Race course is designed with recreational and novice skiers in mind. Covering about 5 miles, it’s a gentle introduction to the world of Nordic racing, with rolling hills and wide, accommodating trails.
