The SPAR Swiss Epic MTB offers an unforgettable five-day adventure that will have you and your teammate eating, sleeping, and breathing mountain biking. The race is known for its fresh new route each year, ensuring that even seasoned riders face a unique challenge. Imagine the thrill of conquering snow-capped peaks, descending through jagged valleys, and navigating fast-flowing trails.
This demanding yet highly rewarding five-day stage race stretches over 350 kilometers and involves a grueling 12,000 meters of climbing. The race organizers provide top-flight accommodations and high-value amenities to recover after each day of exhilarating riding.
One unique aspect of the SPAR Swiss Epic is the requirement to ride as a team of two. This creates incredible camaraderie and teamwork as you and your partner conquer the mountain biking adventure of a lifetime.
The all-inclusive package ensures that you have everything you need for a remarkable week in the Swiss Alps. You’ll stay in Swiss quality double rooms with your teammate, providing the perfect environment to rest and recharge. The race’s commitment to rider comfort includes service stations offering sports nutrition at three points on each stage, post-stage recovery meals, free coffee to start your day, and local beer at the finish of each stage in the lively Race Village.
The stages follow this order: S1 Davos to La Punt, Engadin, S2 La Punt to Engadin, S3 La Punt to Engadin, S4 La Punt to Engadin – Davos and S5 Davos.
The Engadin region in Graubünden offers top-notch mountain biking with over 400 kilometers of well-signposted routes extending to Italy. La Punt is home to the impressive Albula Trail, running almost 9 kilometers from the pass directly into the village. Davos Klosters is a singletrack paradise for mountain bikers, with trails for all levels including the award-winning “Alps Epic Trail Davos.”
